The
Call for Youth Leadership was originally, a response to parents
calls, established in 1989 as a youth club of San
Fernando Valley Chinese Cultural Association (SFVCCA) to serve
Chinese-American community. From 1994 to 1998, the youth club of
SFVCCA collaborated with the San Fernando Valley Japanese American
Cultural Center (SFVJACC), the Department of Asian American Study
of California State University Northridge (CSUN), and Asian Pacific
Islanders Council of San Fernando Valley (APIC-SFV) to form a Youth
Leadership Training Program (YLTP). In 1999 till now, the youth
club of SFVCCA continue carrying out the mission of Call for Youth
Leadership.

Totally Speechless' was established as a Gavel Club of Toastmaster
International Inc. in 1989.

1st annual SFVCCA family camping activity at Malibu Creek state
park in 1990.

with Successmasters Toastmaster Club to setup SpeechCraft program
for parents who became charter member of Challengers Toastmasters
Club in 1991.
