Mission
The
missions of the Call for Youth Leadership ( )
is to develop communication and leadership skills in Asian youth
that, in addition to promoting a high degree of academic achievement,
broadens their awareness of social-political issues and concerns
in the community.

Goals
and Objectives
-
To develop essential leadership skills including: effective communication,
human relations, organization, time management and team work.
- To
build self-help skills to enable youths to become leaders, role
models, peer counselors and mentors to serve as catalysts among
youths.
- To
get to know the community, encourage volunteering and community
involvement.
- To
enhance self-esteem and respect for diversity through the learning
of Asian and Pacific Islander American history and cultures and
their contribution to the country.
- To
increase awareness and knowledge of crucial issues such as substance
abuse prevention, disaster preparedness, ethics and other social
and public issues.
- To
build a cohesive relationship in the multicultural community.
