Message From our Principal

I would like to wish everyone a happy new year! It's a new decade and a new phase at our school. It is my hope that we will have a wonderful year ahead of us. In terms of curriculum, we have a wonderful group of teachers who are energetic and enthusiastic to teach our students. It is my belief that our students will learn significantly from our teachers. In addition to the usual teaching, we will have several academic events in the near future such as SAT II Chinese test preparation, Chinese Jeopardy and Poem recital contest. All
of these events are designed to enhance the Chinese Culture understanding for our students.
As to the extra curriculum, we are assembling highly qualified teachers to teach our kids. We now have Chinese folk dance club, painting club, Chinese Jeopardy preparation, and Guitar club. All of these activities are exciting and fun. It is not the end of it. PTA is organizing a Chinese New Year celebration held in school at February 13, 2010 for our students. SFVCCA will have a Chinese New Year Party held in a Korean Church at March 06, 2010. We will have track and field event held in the coming April. Every year, we have won tons of prize in this event. Let’s not stop the tradition. Also, we have “silently” continued our annual camping trip for three years. This year, we will go to Jackson Flat campground during the Memorial weekend. I am sure that this will be another exciting event.
Finally, I would like to thank our teachers, school staffs and PTA staffs. Do you realize that all of our staffs work voluntarily for our kids? Do you know that our teachers only take small amount of compensation for their teaching? Without their effort and sacrifice, our school won’t be in here. It is my belief that their sacrifice and enthusiasm are only for one purpose: giving the
best Chinese Language education to our students. I sincerely think that our teachers and staffs deserve our appreciation.
