The San Fernando Valley Chinese Cultural Association (SFVCCA) Chinese School would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your donations over the years. Because of your generosity, we have been able to fund several projects, including word recognition contest. Also due to the increasing of Rental Fee, Insurance Fee.As you know, SFVCCA is a non-profit (501)(c)(3) organization, and Our office staff is volunteer-based. The tuition payment each year is calculated from budgeted cost. To have our school’s foreign language credit widely accepted and more easily transferable, we are in the process of applying for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation. WASC charges annual membership fees and application fees plus initial and further visit fees. Visiting Committee fees are also charged when an accreditation visit is scheduled to take place. We really need your help with this. Please support us, and any donation is welcome. We encourage you to use the gift card order form below:

Parents Volunteer Sign Up
PTA has created a list of parent volunteer options for parents to sign up for volunteering jobs in the school year 2021-2022.
Parents can create a SignupGenius account, log in to the account online or via the free mobile app to search for [email protected] for all available volunteer opportunities. Or using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/index.cfm?go=c.MyAccount#/ to view all volunteer options.
Once you click on the link, you will see the following page. Click on the one of the five volunteer options of your choice.
Then you’ll be able taken to the following page to choose the volunteer date(s) of your choice. Parents can sign up for multiple slots/dates for the same volunteer option (see below).
*Please remember to enter Parent’s name (Student’s Name/Class) in the Comment section to get volunteer credit.
Once signup is complete, an automatic email reminder will be sent to you prior to the volunteering date.
*To become fully eligible for the $125 Parent Services Fee Refund in gift cards, parent volunteers are required to fulfil either 12 hours services or 4 weeks full day service for the school year 2021-22, whichever is satisfied first.
These volunteer options are now live on SignupGinus online and on the mobile app, please sign up before the slots are filled.

$125 Parent Service Deposit refund policy: In general, at least 12-hour services are required to get the refund. Mixed signups are allowable. Those who can read and write Chinese characters are strongly encouraged to sign up of volunteering "Word Recognition Practice" and "Poem Recital Contests."
