僑校文化教學推廣：布袋戲比賽實際執行範例

4月14日全美線上講座資訊，有興趣者歡迎報名線上學習。
講座內容：認識布袋戲，操作布偶，製作布偶，設計舞台，編寫中文劇本，繪製海報，戲劇表演，比賽流程等。 每一項內容，都可以依據學生程度或是老師教學資源，改編成為獨立的中文學習單元
時間: 2019年4月14日(星期日)
美東時間晚上八點至九點, 美中七點至八點, 美西五點至六點
線上講座方式: 透過網路 Webex進行。

San Fernando Valley Chinese Cultural Association With Co-sponsor: Northridge Library “An Africa Forum”(in English)
Panelists:

• Toh-bin Lim 林道民: Retired general & trauma surgeon based in San Fernando Valley
• Alice Tuan 段光中: Renowned playwright with roots in San Fernando Valley

Into Africa:

• Lim went into East Africa with expertise in volunteering medical service in developing countries.
• Tuan was invited to Zimbabwe to head playwright conference and workshops.

Out of Africa:

• Lim found himself in war zones in Kenya & Uganda. He will talk about the people, culture, conflicts and health care needs, as well as his work and, especially, challenges there.
• In Zimbabwe, was there democracy? Basic rights? Internet? Why was a playwright invited? What for? Was she able to leave her mark there?  Tuan will talk about them all, and more.

From these two drastically different perspectives, effect of China’s “Belt & Road一带一路” push into Africa also emerges in unexpected ways.
