Message From our President

Happy New Lunar Year!

May good fortune and health always be with you in the year of the Tiger!
It is an honor to be elected as the 2010 President of SFVCCA by the Board of Directors. I will serve with honest and enthusiasm. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the 2009 Board Members for their sacrifice and services for our Association.
Our Association was established in 1971. In the year 2010, it will have served our community for 40 years. The main goal and objective of our Association has been to motivate our members, mostly the first generation immigrants, to merge into the main stream of the United States. We also serve as a main organization to promote the Chinese culture and language in the San Fernando Valley. In the coming year, we will hold bi-monthly seminars as a benefit to our members to discuss common interests in various topics related to income tax, health, investment, and education. Under the direction of the board, the Chinese Heritage Foundation has been diligently searching for a plot of land to serve as our Association’s future home and as a school for our students. Hopefully, we can fulfill our noble dreams this year. Please continue to give the board your input and suggestions. I would like to thank all the founding members who had laid the strong foundation for our Association.
Our Chinese New Year Celebration Party will be held on Saturday, March 06, 2010 at the World Vision Church in Northridge. A buffet dinner will be served and there will be many performances including a Lion Dance, New Year songs, Chinese folk dance, Kung Fu, and a Chinese Fashion show. Please bring your family members and invite your friends to join us for a memorable night.
Your continued support is the key strength to our Association. Let us team up and work hard to pursue the best for our members in 2010.
